Vala. He continued, “We remain cautiously optimistic that airlines will continue to work to meet rising travel demand. We have maintained an excellent working relationship with all three of our airline partners – American, Allegiant and United, throughout the pandemic and we are glad to report the Airport is close to resuming a normal, pre-pandemic operating schedule.”

Dianne Hardwick, Airport Authority Commissioner said, “We are incredibly grateful for the commitment and confidence that Allegiant is showing in the Springfield market. We are delighted to see the extension in their summer schedule through the months that are usually viewed as a seasonal hiatus.” She concluded by saying, “Compliments are also due to American Airlines and United Airlines as they have been steadfast in their commitment to the Springfield market. Network airline access to a vast number of hubs and destinations is absolutely critical to supporting economic growth in our community.”
